Little Dan D Farm

Little Dan-D Farm is a privately owned mixed farming operation in Lower Mt. Thom. It was established in the early 1800's by my forefathers from Scotland and has been a working farm since. The farm has been handed down from one MacDonald generation the next and is now operated by Danny MacDonald.

Little Dan-D Farm operates with natural practices trying to put back into the land what we have consumed. We apply all the manure produced to the land in an environmentally friendly way. Pesticides and fertilizers are kept to a minimum. All products are natural with no additives, antibiotics or growth hormones. Our chicken and eggs are free range when possible and the lamb and beef is raised on grass with small amount of grain in winter months.
